His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was 13 when began uploading his videos to YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of "Let's Plays" and "videos which estimate the wealth of other YouTubers." The YouTuber became famous in the year 2017 after his "Counting to 100,000" video received tens of thousands of views in just days. Donaldson recruited several old friends to assist him in managing the growing brand after it was launched. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel for Donaldson, with 60 members.
