Adar Gandelsman was an Israeli model. She was Miss Israel's first-place runner-up, and also won the title Miss Universe Israel 2017. Adar was a part of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, but she did not place. Gandelsman, Miss Universe Iraq 2017 took a photo with Sarah Idan during the pageant. Idan and her entire family fled Iraq in December 2017 after being slammed by Iraqi citizens about her photo with Miss Israel.
